Comprising talent from different bands like Fig Leaf, Atrox, Bethzaida, Hellstorm, Griffin & Maelström to name a few, the result couldn’t be any different. ADD’s debut is a fresh take on an old sound. With amps turned way up, they blend classic progressive rock with modern raw aggression.
Anti-Depressive Delivery formed in 2002 as an after-work-project by Broholt and Kråbøl, but was soon joined by Wahl. After a short period they began searching for others to complete the line-up. With an incomplete line-up, they recorded “Voyagè of No-Brain Discovery” in May 2003, a four-track demo that received raveging feedback, even named “demo of the year” in Monster Magazine. At that point Haakon-Marius and Pete served as session members, but where soon to join in a permanent basis. Shortly after the demo, the second guitarist, Eskil, departed from the band, never to be replaced.
A couple of labels showed interest in the band and ADD went back into the rehearsal-room to record a new demo on a mobile digital-recorder. The result was “at rehearsal 03”, and four new songs was brought into daylight just within a month prior to the first demo. This finally led to a contract on Laser’s Edge Records.
In February 04, their debut “Feel. Melt. Release. Escape.” was recorded in Skansen Lydstudio. Alan Douches mastered the album while Travis Smith did the illustrations.
