Biography:   How do you create a buzz in the prog rock world? Simple: send a few prerelease copies around of your upcoming album to selected labels and websites and let the Internet do all the work.

Well the buzz has been building for past year and now the wait is over!

The Underground Railroads debut "Through And Through" is ready to take the progressive rock world by storm.

Having received world wide acclaim with his solo album Book In Hand, keyboardist Kurt Rongey unites with his long time friend, fusion guitarist Bill Pohl. Having played together in the Texas prog and metal scenes on and off for years it was a matter of time for them to record together.

The Underground Railroad creates forward thinking symphonic rock with a reverential glance backwards. Their influences range from modern classical music to early Genesis, Gentle Giant, Echolyn and Allan Holdsworth. Virtuoso musicianship and complex arrangements are hallmarks of this remarkable debut release. The music varies from shorter tunes like "May-Fly" and "Mars" to the prog rock bombast of the 20 minute epic title track.
